Meet Alyssa Rauton, the GDYF Junior Board of Directors First Vice President and dairy enthusiast.

Alyssa Rauton from Waynesboro, Georgia, has a contagious smile and a witty personality. She has a passionate heart for the dairy industry and has enjoyed showing dairy animals through the Burke County FFA program for many years.

“I love dairy and the industry. The GDYF junior board gives me the opportunity to share my passion with others and introduce other people to what I love” said Alyssa.

Alyssa recently graduated from Burke County High School where she served as the Student Advisor Liaison for the Burke County High FFA Chapter. She also competed in several SAE projects, including Job Interviewing and Agricultural Communications.

Alyssa’s ability to lead will be an asset to the Junior Board this year. She also served as Board Secretary for the GDYF Junior Board of Directors in 2016.

Alyssa will attend the University of Georgia this fall and plans to major in Animal Science. Her career goal is to become a large animal veterinarian.
