Our Georgia Dairy Youth Foundation Junior Board Promotion Leader is Keshon Winns. Keshon is a freshman at Burke County High School and active with the Burke County FFA Chapter, Art Club, Burke County Marching Band and his church.
Keshon has been involved in Georgia dairy youth activities such as showing heifers for the past three years. He credits his FFA advisor for introducing him to showing and encouraged him to expand his involvement to showing dairy heifers, goats and lambs. He joined the GDYF Junior Board in the hopes of finding new ways to engage and introduce younger generations to the dairy industry.
Although graduation is several years off, but Keshon dreams of attending Abraham Baldwin and pursuing a degree in Education. He would like to be that inspiration for others like his Ag Teacher was for him. GDYF is encouraging him to stick to his dreams. We know he will be successful because of his hard work on the board and his outgoing personality.
