GDYF supports Collegiate

The Georgia Dairy Youth Foundation is proud to support the efforts of outstanding Dairy Science students at the University of Georgia. UGA students participate in multiple dairy judging competitions, including the National American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge, where they apply their classroom knowledge of the dairy industry to real-life situations.
University of Georgia students are given the opportunity to participate in numerous activities related to the dairy industry which will develop skills needed for their future careers, whether in dairy production or manufacturing, veterinary science, vocational education or agribusiness. These activities are open to all UGA students whether they are Animal and Dairy Science majors or not. They compete in judging contests on the regional and national levels, participate in the National Dairy Challenge, hold Dairy Fun Night for UGA students, host the Commercial Dairy Heifer Show and the Purebred Junior Dairy Show, host booths at various College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences events, and assist with the State FFA and 4-H Dairy Judging Contests.
Recently UGA walked away with some impressive awards at the American Dairy Science Association Awards banquet. To read more about them...check out our GDYF website and look for the recent Summer E-Moos.
