Management

The Georgia Dairy Youth Foundation was officially incorporated on May 18, 2009 and is a 501 (c) (3) organization.  All donations made to the GDYF are tax deductible according to IRS standards.

The GDYF Board of Directors is comprised of 24 directors elected for three year terms. Fifteen directors on the Board are Georgia dairy producers or commercial dairy heifer growers. The remaining nine directors include individuals from the dairy industry, breed associations, extension agents, agribusinesses, and 4-H or FFA. Two ex-officio members, a State Extension Dairy Specialist from the University of Georgia and the Executive Director for the Georgia Milk Producers, also serve on the Board.
