Addie Pierce.....Willing and Ready to Serve

Hey everyone my name is Addie Pierce. I am 17 years old and a Junior at Winder-Barrow High School. I am very active in my FFA chapter, whether it's showing animals, competing in different Career and Development Events (CDE), or being on our FFA officer team, etc. I have shown dairy heifers for three seasons and swine for one season. I am the Winder Barrow High School Vice President on our officer team and I have competed in CDEs for Vet Science, Ag Sales and employment skills.

I first became involved in FFA in 9th grade. Ever since joining FFA, I have made life-long friends and memories that will last a lifetime. Through FFA I have become more confident, learned valuable leadership skills, and worked with some of the best Advisors and FFA members there are! Even though I joined FFA later than most, I strive to get involved in as much as I can in my FFA chapter and my community.

Ever since I was little my favorite word to say is "Believe." Whether I remind myself that in the show ring or just throughout life, I BELIEVE that anything is possible.

I am grateful to have been chosen to serve on the Georgia Dairy Youth Foundation. I can't wait to work with the Junior Board and all the other people involved with GDYF!!
