Jorja Cooper, Vice-President of GDYF

MEET JORJA COOPER

Vice President of the 2018 Georgia Dairy Foundation Junior Board

Our Vice President for 2018 is currently Jorja Cooper, a senior at Chattooga County High School. Jorja excels in the classroom while serving as president of the Chattooga Co. High FFA Chapter, as a member of the Student Council and as a class representative for the Beta Club.

Jorja is a positive spokesperson for the state’s dairy industry and is involved in several Georgia Dairy Youth Foundation activities. She has assisted with several fundraising activities and showing heifers for the past six years. Jorja is passionate and hard-working. Her many accomplishments, in and out of the show ring show, prove her commitment to GDYF.

When asked what her favorite dairy youth activity is, her response would be the Dress-a-Cow contest, where participants get to use their creativity to design a costume for their heifer and parade them in the ring. Jorja is also a part of the Dairy Judging team in her county.

Motivated by her passion for the dairy industry, Jorja joined the GDYF Junior Board in the hopes of finding new ways to engage the younger generation in the dairy industry. As a board member, she hopes to help ensure that the younger generations can expand their knowledge of the dairy field as well.

When Jorja completes high school, she would like to attend the University of Georgia and major in Veterinarian medicine. GDYF salutes Jorja Cooper and her contributions to our organization and Georgia’s dairy industry!
