The University of Georgia hosted the Georgia 4-H Dairy Judging Contest in Mid-April at the UGA Livestock Instructional Arena in Athens, GA. Dairy Judging equips participants with critical thinking skills as they acquire a deeper understanding of dairy cattle and develop skills in identifying desirable physical traits while increasing knowledge in the animal sciences. Contestants prepare by learning the industry standards, and they gain knowledge through research, training sessions, group activities, and hands-on experiences.

Dairy judging results what a niche and wonderful world. As a PhD student who works part-time at Last-Minute Assignments, I never knew this existed during college. I struggled so much that I’d search for help with psychology assignment just to understand group dynamics. Thank you for sharing. You’re reminding us that excellence comes in many forms. Grateful for young people learning evaluation skills. I’m cheering for all the competitors. Appreciate the diversity of achievement. Keep celebrating the unusual. Thanks for broadening my horizons. Seriously, this made me smile. Congrats to all the 4-H participants. Well done. Thank you.
