Meet the mastermind behind getting youth involved in GDYF events, Junior Board Events Co-Chair Jorja

Our Dairy Georgia Youth Foundation Junior Board Events Co-Chair is Jorja Cooper. A junior at Chattooga High School, Jorja is an active FCCLA and FFA member within her county and community. She has been involved in Georgia Dairy Youth activities such as showing heifers for the past five years. However, when asked what her favorite dairy youth activity is, her response would be the Dress-a-Cow contest…where participants get to show off their creativity in the ring. Jorja is also a part of the Dairy Judging team in her county. Motivated by her own passion for the dairy industry, Jorja joined the GDYF Junior Board in the hopes of finding new ways to engage the younger generation in the dairy industry. As a board member she hopes to help ensure that the younger generations have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the dairy field.
